Over the years OWT has established itself as a credible, efficient non-profit organization. It has built relationships with professionals, volunteers, donors, local government bodies and health officials. Its considerable strengths and the goodwill it has earned will be leveraged to take initiatives in other health-related areas.

Ongoing projects

  • Add/maintain equipment for the healthcare services currently rendered.
  • Provide consultation and laboratory services, either free of cost or at subsidised rates
  • Conduct camps for awareness/ screening for health-related issues
  • Conduct free eye surgeries, treatment for Below the Poverty Line (BPL) patients
  • Provide consultation, medication for those in palliative care

Future Projects

In its future plans OWT seeks to widen the scope of its healthcare services by stepping in where it feels there is a need. There are several that are important, if not essential, but not easily available/accessible, particularly to those who are less privileged. Some of the areas considered for future growth are
  • Diabetes clinic
  • Dental clinic
  • Clinic for women-related issues
  • Provide training for youth in health related employment opportunities
